Verdict
Tudor Key and Dreamwalk set the standard here and it is TUDOR KEY that can see off a big field. Amanda Perrett's colt was good enough to finish fourth in the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot before being slightly disappointing in a Salisbury maiden last time. The softer ground may have been a reason for that, and back on good to firm here, plus with the benefit of a break, he is taken to break his maiden. Dreamwalk went close on his Salisbury debut and wasn't far away next time, and after struggling over a mile last time on good to soft, punters will have to hope that this quicker ground can help him to produce better. Omnium Duke should be much better for both his Newbury debut and this faster ground, so he looks capable of making the frame. Opinion Poll is a nicely bred sort who will probably im prove next year, while It's A Man's World may have more to offer than that opponent on debut. New Adventure should come on for his Warwick pipe opener and can show plenty of improvement under Kirsty Milczarek, but we will take Tudor Key to score.
