Bootleg and Royal Society are both newcomers to watch carefully in the betting with both stables in form; however HEY UP DAD shaped with plenty of promise on his debut and gets the vote over Sweet Possession. Michael Dods' son of Fantastic Light got going too late at Haydock on debut but there were plenty of positives to take from the run and as the sire's progeny tend to improve greatly with time then a big run should be on the cards with the step up in trip looking sure to suit. Island Chief will be qualified for handicaps after this run, whilst Pokfulham drops in trip today which may suit but he doesn't appear the most straightforward. Stablemate Sweet Possession looks the more likely winner; she was out of her depth in the Sweet Solera last time but should appreciate the drop in grade although the ground may be cause for concern. Not a race to get carried away with however we will side with Hey Up Dad.
