Preference is for Liberation Spirit in the opener with Jennie Jerome and Sharki those that he has to fear most. The selection proved to be a costly failure last time when turned over at odds of 1-2 but can be forgiven that run as it came just before Noseda closed the doors to his yard; his string is up and running again now and have already hit the target. The Gone West colt's form is rock solid and he's likely to be a warm order. Andaman Sunset has proved to be a fair performer but has passed up similar opportunities in the past and patience has run out; a place is the best that awaits. Orchestration isn't certain to see out this trip although would be of interest if attracting support as would Walter Swinburn's newcomer Apotheosis. John Gosden introduces a well bred newcomer in the form of Indian Ridge filly Sharki and she deserves a market check but one with claims already in the book is Luca Cumani's Jennie Jerome. She was well backed on debut for this yard only to prove disappointing but she's been given a break and the well regarded filly may well be worth another chance. She faces a well regarded colt here though and Liberation Spirit is taken to prevail.
