Verdict
Two are standouts on form with STAR STORM (NAP) given preference over Next Approach. James Fanshawe's Sea The Stars colt produced an effort full of potential on his reappearance when runner-up to Postponed in a good Sandown maiden, an effort which requires marking up as he was slowly away, refused to settle and generally looked green. The experience will have taught him plenty and he's expected to go one better. Next Approach is an obvious danger for John Gosden, having showed ability on debut at the Craven meeting when a promising third behind Global Force. He's sure to land a maiden on that evidence but hasn't been seen since and a first-time hood from that run is retained. Dasaateer is a possible improver for the Varian team.
