        Verdict

        An impenetrable looking affair with the just 4lb covering the top 13 in the field and conservative stakes are recommended. Merritt Island has a distance success to her name but seemingly had limitations exposed when a 5l second to Black Cherry at Sandown but does drop down a grade now and is well respected with the underrated Rosie Jessop claiming a useful 3lb. Mutamid and Ejbaar are possible improvers whilst Flying Fantasy cannot be ignored as Haggas and Moore have a fine record when teaming up. However, DUTCH LAW is getting his act together now and went close on his first venture over a mile last time. He looks sure to be involved at the business end with further progress anticipated.
