Not the ideal opener for punters but BAILEYS EN PREMIER scored at Chelmsford on Wednesday evening and has now landed three of his last four starts. He's well suited by a mile on the forecast ground, having obliged under similar conditions at Brighton earlier in the season. He remains well treated off a mark of 57 and Edward Greatrex is an excellent booking. Stormbound is the sort to go well as he's a dependable character who always seems to be thereabouts and should give Stephen King a good ride on just his fifth mount in public. Sexy Secret continues to accumulate place prize money but is now 1-33 and Saint Pois looks more interesting. It was a fair effort to finish fourth last time at Leicester over 7f and he'll appreciate the longer trip with the experienced George Downing doing the steering.
