    Verdict

With Amanda Perrett's team in form at present, Art Trader is taken to follow up his debut win here last month, with Mahmoon seen as the main danger. Art Trader caught the eye in the paddock before his introduction at the end of last month, and it was no surprise when he travelled well before battling home to a narrow victory from Buckeye Wonder. Although he drops back in trip here, that is not seen as a problem, and he can follow up before going on to better things. Mahmoon also come from an in-form stable and was another seen in action here on his debut, staying on when scoring over six furlongs. However, his race does not look as strong as the selection's, and Art Trader can have his measure. There is no doubting that Hunter's Valley has major claims and will probably start favourite, while Nephetriti Way is on the upgrade. However, at the likely odds, we feel that it is worth taking a chance with Art Trader.
