A wide open nursery in which only a tentative vote goes to Jimmy Ryan ahead of the likes of Leaping Brave, Mac Love and Mister Saif. Jimmy Ryan finished behind Mister Saif on his debut at Folkestone but improved enough to open his account at Nottingham next time. Therefore he may be able to turn the tables on that rival, although he is by no means a good thing to do so. Leaping Brave has been consistent enough and has a racing weight so is another to consider, while Mac Love has topweight but the stable is flying at present. Bentley's Ball has already been successful over the course and distance and cannot be ruled out either, and Cape Trafalgar is due a win on the evidence so far. All in all, this is a very hard one to call, but with Frankie Dettori booked to ride, connections obviously mean business, and Jimmy Ryan can make the frame at least.
