In depth

Verdict

Joey Haynes is one of the more experienced riders here and rode a winner for Michael Mullineaux earlier this month so the combination can strike again via TWO TURTLE DOVES, a winner on soft ground at Hamilton before a good effort in a lady riders' event at Warwick. See The Storm has won twice and finished runner-up five times in his last seven starts and any further rain will enhance his chances though he hasn't run since December. Putin has won five times on the all-weather but never in 24 starts on Turf though he was beaten a head at Yarmouth last month. Flynn's Boy will have needed his run at Redcar after a very long absence and though probably better over another furlong these races are usually run at a furious pace and he'll be staying on strongly at the finish.
