In depth

Verdict

Akatara continues to thwart all attempts to get a victory out of her and has now gone 34 races without winning though once again she ran well over this track and trip last time. Captain Lob looked a certain future winner when a close second to Balnaslow at Punchestown a year ago but hasn't made the expected progress. Saltmills Blackie, a half-brother to three winners, has done well between the flags and joined a yard going well while Dashing Lady landed a point at Killeagh in January and Colin Bowe does well with similar types. Wicklow Gold is by the same sire as Sir Des Champs and Quevega but has shown little in bumpers to date so DANCING ROE, who has shown promise in both starts here and at Fairyhouse, looks the one to be on.
