Tom Dascombe won this last year with subsequent Queen Mary heroine Ceiling Kitty and will be hoping Quatuor can scale the same heights. She's going the right way as she easily won last week's Lily Agnes at Chester when beating Blithe Spirit by four lengths. Limegrove was fourth and Kodafine last and she had Hoku back in third when successful earlier at Windsor, though did have the benefit of experience that day. Beldale Memory, Champagne Babe, Majestic Alexander and Pigeon Pie were all first time winners, the latter beating subsequent Ripon scorer Lexington Rose at Newcastle. BUSH BEAUTY looked to be travelling just as well as the long odds-on Autumn Blush on debut at Yarmouth but couldn't quicken inside the final furlong. She'll have learned from that and could run well at a big price in this opener.
