Archie Rice's claims would be enhanced by a big run from Royal Willy in the preceding race but we'll take SWISS DIVA to supplement her Lingfield gains whilst Invincible Heart will also have her supporters. David Elsworth's filly endured a frustrating time at two with a series of near misses before she opened her account at Lingfield but so many of her sire's progeny progress with age and she gave every indication that she had done the same when producing a good turn of foot on the polytrack last time. She's equally effective on grass and can overcome a 6lb rise in the weights. Invincible Heart has a 6lb penalty to shoulder having made all to win at Chester but she's worth taking on as she was well drawn and got the run of the race. Archie Rice's form stands up to close inspection with his maiden win looking solid and there was no disgrace in his defeat behind the speedy Amour Propre in a Group 3 on his first run at the minimum; the return to racing over this longer trip will suit. Macdillon looks well treated if his defeat of Kingship Spirit is taken literally but the runner-up improved markedly at the backend of the season so there must be some doubt about that but he's unexposed as is Shamwari Lodge who merits respect. Preference, though, is for Swiss Diva.
