FLAG OF GLORY impressed when winning with a fair bit in hand last time and he is taken to follow-up, while Secretive and Number One Guy could provide the main competition. The selection carries a 6lb penalty today for that eased-down success over this trip, where he won as he liked. He hasn't yet raced on good to firm, though there is no reason why he should not act on it, and Chris Wall looks to have found him an opportunity to win again. Secretive is respected in opposition, from the Mark Johnston establishment. He was just touched off at Nottingham over this distance and although he was beaten on his only try on faster ground so far, it was more likely to have been the trip that accounted for him, and he should go well. Number One Guy has been raised 4lbs for nosing home at Yarmouth when last seen in public in October. The ground will suit and with the yard going well he is likely to be straight enough to have a say. Kensei would probably prefer a drop of rain to enhance his claim, while Sidney Melbourne may be best watched on his handicap debut given that the yard is a little quiet at present. Flag Of Glory is a confident choice.
