    Verdict

This race often unearths a useful filly and Cape Amber is selected ahead of Sovereign's Amber and Burn The Breeze. Peter Chapple-Hyam's juveniles have pretty much carried all before them this year and Cape Amber looks to have obvious claims on this occasion. Already entered for the top juvenile races, the daughter of Cape Cross is bred to get further in time. Sovereign's Amber has to be respected with Ryan Moore aboard. Seven furlongs will be sharp enough on breeding but the Keeneland Sales graduand was anything other than a cheap purchase. Burn The Breeze bids to win this prize for Henry Cecil. The master of Warren Place won this last year with Passage Of Time and this daughter of Beat Hollow is sure to be well forward in her work. Ever Dreamer lacks big entries but is sharply bred. She could go well at big odds. Fifty was not knocked about at Goodwood and can be expected to have progressed for the outing. Miss Emma May should prove the yardstick as she finished eighth in the Albany Stakes. Stormy View has a likeable American pedigree and is watched in the market. Cape Amber looks the pick in the absence of market information.
