A big field of maidens here but Paradise Isle can beat them all, with Stormy Nature and Two Of Clubs also set to run well. The selection belied her starting price of 50-1 when an unlucky second to Noyac on her Newmarket debut. Chris Wall's filly had to be switched twice during the race and in the end was only beaten less than two lengths. The third home, Wavertree Girl, went on to run fourth in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot recently so the form could be very good. Connections will be heartened by that latter result and with the ground easing, everything looks right for Paradise Isle to open her account. Stormy Nature failed to build on her Goodwood debut when beaten at Pontefract but the step up in trip here should see an improved effort from the Peter Harris-trained filly. Two Of Clubs handled the soft ground when fourth at Beverley on her introduction and should again run well, while any moves for Killerby Nicko should be noted. However, they will all have to go some to stop Paradise Isle.
