Perfect Setting appears to hold all the aces and can be considered a confident selection, with Raccoon taken to provide the forecast. Peter Makin's colt was sent off favourite on his return at Newbury where he set a strong pace before being edged out in a blanket finish. He was also fancied on his debut at Sandown last season but found one too good. It is doubtful that any of these will prove up to the task and the son of Polish Precedent, with George Duffield in the plate, should prove far too strong. Raccoon needed rousting along when second to Naughty Girl but that was not a bad effort and he appears to be the main threat to the favourite over Newmarket raider Bob's Buzz. Richard Fahey's team continue in good order and any moves in the market should be noted for his newcomer Killer Bee. He may well reach the frame as well, without being good enough to foil Perfect Setting.
