Not too much to get excited about here and SO BAZAAR is taken to outpoint Bahamian Music, while Hoss Cartwright is likely to take a hand. The Alan Swinbank-trained selection made a very pleasing debut in the context of this race, staying on strongly over 6f at Ayr to be closest at the finish. Pedigree suggests that the Xaar gelding will handle cut in the ground and if that transpires then with natural improvement for the run he will be tough to beat. If there is one to lower his colours then it could be Bahamian Music. Richard Fahey's filly debuted over this trip at Thirsk last month, making the frame on fast ground. While her sire Bahamian Bounty was very much a fast ground performer, her dam did win with juice in the ground so she may well make her presence felt. Hoss Cartwright was given a quiet pipe opener at York but is another who should act on this going and will relish this trip for now. A market check is advised to gauge how much improvement he has shown at home before today. Neither Sunnandaeg nor Kai Broon jump off the card as obvious debut winners and a better proposition may be Caracal, who should come on for his first run and for whom trip and ground look to be ideal. So Bazaar can break his duck.
