      Verdict

      Gigs Magic, Crime Scene and Cape Gold look interesting here and we expect the experience of Gigs Magic to prove crucial. Crime Scene represents Mark Johnston and must be respected. He is a son of Royal Applause so should have his fair share of pace, and the dam won over eleven furlongs in France. He must be respected, but will be better for the experience and may need further to be seen at his best. Richard Fahey is another to beware of in a contest such as this where there is little form to consider and the majority of the field are unraced. He saddles Cape Gold, a son of Cape Cross. He can be expected to excel at the trip, being a half-brother to a useful sprinter in Italy, and any market move should be heeded. The selection though is Gigs Magic. He showed the benefit of a previous outing when just touched off by Sand Cat at Wolverhampton, and that form has turned out to be better than it looked at the time. James Given¿s runners are going well now and Gigs Magic can lead them home.
