Far Pavilions, Odiham and Coconut Beach are the three for the shortlist in this prestigious stayers¿ handicap and Far Pavilions, the gamble of the race, is the one to be on. Odiham is attractively weighted, and is running in to form. Hughie Morrison is adept at producing his runners for the big handicaps and Odiham is running into form at the right time. He slammed Cold Turkey by five lengths on the Polytrack and will be thereabouts. Aidan O¿Brien sends Coconut Beach across the water and he too is well treated. Twice a winner at the end of last season, he hasn¿t managed to get his head in front this term but signalled his winning turn would not be far away when finishing a good third at York over a half mile further than today. Far Pavilions, however is the one they all have to beat. Alan Swinbank¿s runner has completed a hat-trick, with his latest win coming at Musselburgh. His form looks solid, with a number of subsequent winners coming out of his races, and although he hasn¿t won over this trip, Far Pavilions is the selection.
