In depth

Verdict

ORIENTAL LILLY came right to her best here two weeks ago. A high draw could prove beneficial and Corey Madden takes off 7lb so Jim Goldie’s mare has every chance of a sixth course victory. It’s almost a year since Kenny The Captain last ran on the all-weather but he has been in decent form on Turf this autumn and makes more appeal than Socru, who has plenty to prove on the surface. A similar comment applies to Bedtime Bella but Klopp knows where the winning post is here, though is arguably best at the minimum trip. Mount Wellington will likely need this after a break having switched stables.
