Merweb has been a disappointment this season but Amber Spark could bounce back to form at any time and Perfect Swiss has won his last two over course and distance having been previously frustrating. Detachment is starting to look very well handicapped and has only raced three times on the all-weather so far but Insurplus turned in a shocker here last month. Anif has won three times this year but two of those victories came in claimers. ASCOT WEEK (NAP) just came up short at Ayr when last in action and is only a pound higher here. A dual course and distance winner, John Quinn’s gelding gets the nod ahead of the lightly-raced Robotique Danseur.
