Amarillo Star has the most recent form with a second at Kempton but faces a much tougher task today while though Romero made a winning debut but something went amiss at the Curragh when last in action in June. Oh Purple Reign should have the measure of Desert Safari on these terms but LORD OF THE LODGE is weighted to come out best. Karl Burke’s colt finished a creditable second in the Gimcrack at York in August and is the one to beat if running anywhere near the same level on his reappearance.
