NIGHT EDITION’s second in a Cheltenham Grade 2 last month is the stand-out piece of form in this and the Pipe gelding is likely to start a warm favourite. Grand Slam has hinted at ability but may do better in handicaps. Rhosneigr’s second at Wincanton was a big improvement on his first run over timber and Kilpin also took a step forward when third at Huntingdon, though was still beaten 17 lengths. Zarafshan never threatened when fifth at Kempton but should be capable of better.
