In depth

Verdict

This should be plain sailing for Stagecoach Diamond; Jack The Blaster can chase him home. The selection improved for the drop in trip when running into second place at Carlisle recently however he steps up in trip today. He has won over the trip over hurdles so that shouldn't prove a problem and with the ground to suit, he looks sure to run a big race with his jumping improving with every start. Jack The Blaster is the danger; Howard Johnson's gelding looks sure to develop into a better chaser than he was a hurdler and market support on this, his chasing debut would put the cat amongst the pigeons. Sticky End has shaped as if further would suit, but there was a glimmer of hope in that first try over fences last time. At a price Mister Jungle could improve on his recent chasing debut, however this looks a two horse race and slight preference is for Stagecoach Diamond.
