Bird On The Wire, a winner at Doncaster in January from today's rival Ribeye, stayed on strongly when a close second over 3m3f at Sedgefield last month but was engaged in the 4.35 at Sedgefield yesterday. Songbird's Tale had also shown very little before a surprise success at Hexham for which she's only been raised 1lb. Tartan Cookie was well supported when easily landing a similar race over the track and trip but failed to produce the goods in a weaker handicap at Hexham. POST CHAISE had shown nothing at huge prices before returning from a break and making a winning handicap debut over 2m5f at Hereford. The step-up in trip obviously suited and his stable remain in top form.
