Verdict

GIT MAKER went for £105,000 after easily winning a point last May and scored in maiden and novice company over timber. He couldn't make the step-up in class at Sandown but this looks his grade and he can concede weight all-round. Kidman was a 125/1 chance on his debut over the track and trip in February but belied the odds with a fine effort. He found 2m too short at Kelso last month but wasn't beaten far and looks a threat. Winning bumper Shighness was well beaten in her first two starts over timber but enjoyed the heavy ground at Wetherby where she overcame mistakes to score over slightly further. Winning point-to-pointer Whelans Bridge made a bad mistake which put paid to his chances over the course and distance last month. Geordies Dream, a winning bumper, didn't handle heavy ground at Ayr after a decent start over hurdles on this track.
