Verdict

Many of these ran at Cheltenham last month, though not all in the same race. Third Wind won the Pertemps Final with Mill Green third and Winter Fog fourth. IF THE CAP FITS finished sixth, staying on strongly off the final turn having become outpaced when the leaders quickened. Though now a 10-year-old, he clearly retains plenty of ability and won the Stayers Hurdle here in 2019. He was also a good second over 2m4f here in the autumn and is well treated nowadays. Remastered has been chasing but is another who is well handicapped back over hurdles and Master Debonair is a former Grade 2 winner lurking at the foot of the weights, though his stamina will have to be taken on trust. Coeur Serein warrants a mention and Beauport doesn’t know how to run a bad race and wasn’t winning out of turn at Uttoxeter last month. Pounding Poet seems to like it here and Martin Pipe fifth Party Business can figure while Serious Charges is improving at a rate of knots, though will have to defy a further 13lb rise if he is to complete the four-timer.
