Verdict

Go On Chez showed nothing over hurdles but then won between the flags before narrow victories over fences at Uttoxeter and Cartmel last summer. He's been waiting for good ground and with his stable in top form the lack of a run may not be a problem. EDMOND DANTES (NAP) made a successful debut over fences at Market Rasen and looked like winning here next time before falling three out. He was just outstayed over an extended 2m5f back at Market Rasen last week and can return to winning ways. Sir Apollo was well beaten in his first two starts over fences but came here and led for a long way on good ground. He looks a threat while Westdante wasn't beaten far at Hexham and has been dropped 1lb.
