Sea Rover was good value for his debut success at Thirsk last month but Mel Brittain's colt may not be that well treated for his debut in a handicap and preference is for Multitude, who gets the vote over Lucky Bee. The last mentioned is capable of taking a hand in the finish on the pick of his form but has disappointed in his last two starts and may be best watched. David Barron's A Big Sky Brewing kept on well late on when taking a Pontefract maiden last time but he looks plenty high enough in the weights now, while Stormburst may do better now handicapped but is difficult to recommend on all known form. Strathmore looks to be going the right way and would be of interest if the market spoke in his favour but the vote goes to Tim Easterby's Multitude, who gave every indication that a race of this nature would be within his compass following an encouraging reappearance on Southwell's turf course.
