Dan Dare has been expensive to follow but Sir Michael Stoute's gelding looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to reward his trainer's justification in keeping him in training at the age of four and gets the vote to open his account at the main expense of Deadline and Flagstone. The last mentioned is a well bred newcomer from the Alan Swinbank yard that is capable of readying a horse first time out so he needs to be looked at if the market speaks in his favour. Musical Land is becoming exposed, while Topazleo showed only a modicum of ability on his only start at two but may have improved from last season to this. Deadline has ability but is another that has had plenty of chances and preference is for Dan Dare who has the form to land this.
