Bahama Baileys and Shatter Resistant have both shown promise on their only starts so far and the former in particular warrants respect but neither may represent much in the way of value and a chance is taken on the newcomer Nine Stories with Gain Share rated the most interesting of the remainder. The selection is a well bred newcomer from Howard Johnson's stable that is underway with a winner this term last week and he could be speedy enough to make a winning debut. Tim Easterby has started the current campaign in good form so his representative Tikinheart has to be considered along with Karl Burke's Pelican Prince. Gain Share has a decent pedigree and could be of interest but David Barron's two-year-olds normally need a run or two to put them spot on. Bahama Baileys has the pick of the form among the two to have raced but is unlikely to be much of a price and preference is for Nine Stories.
