Verdict
STORMING SIOUX is more lightly raced than most of these, and can land the spoils ahead of anticipated strong challenges from Starla Dancer and Indian Violet. A progressive sort, she's had little luck in-running to date, and finished second on three of her four starts. With plenty in hand over most at the weights, and with a good draw, we think today could be her day; if it's not, she'll probably go to Lingfield on Saturday. Starla Dancer was only beaten by a neck last time out, and the slight step down in trip looks to be a positive. That was her best run to date, and a repeat or even an improvement on, could be enough. Indian Violet seems to be getting the hang of racing and returns to maiden company after running encouragingly in handicaps at Windsor and Newmarket. Market support for anything could give us clues here, although they've all had several runs, and from what we've seen, the one to be on is Storming Sioux.
