In depth

Verdict

Magical Music is in top-form and can follow up last month's Kempton success; Crocodile Bay and Mystical Ayr are closely matched and are worthy of consideration, while White Moss creeps in off a feather weight and is no forlorn hope for a place at fancy odds. That said, Dechiper and Top Jarro also do their bit to make this a furiously competitive event and, despite looking held at the weights, can ensure a good pace unfolds. Which should help Mystical Ayr, who has a string of solid efforts to her name. And, as she has has been a darling for each-way punters to follow, she is a big threat once more. However, she has never won away from her home track at Ayr and needs everything to go her way. Crocodile Bay is on a feasible mark despite top weight and should be capable of getting into the thick of the action. A mile suits him ideally and he can be a thorn in the side of the selection. Nevertheless, Magical Music is too well treated in comparison to his All Weather rating to let slip by on this occasion and he is fancied to go in again whilst he is in such obvious great heart.
