Melodian was most impressive when landing a decent looking handicap at Pontefract a fortnight ago and can follow up here at the expense of Kidz'play and Middlethorpe. Dickie Deadeye, the runner-up behind the selection on that occasion, has since run well at the same track so the form does seem to be quite useful. Kidzplay will be a major threat, he ran a cracker to finish a close up third behind King Revo in a valuable handicap at Hamilton last week. Middlethorpe won well at Doncaster back in March and hasn't been disgraced since in two very competitive handicaps at Catterick and Haydock and he could find his way into the places. Prolific all-weather winner Sendintank could be best of the rest but we expect Melodian to hit the right notes.
