A humdrum handicap and WE'RE DELIGHTED is the percentage call against Moheebb and Superior Star. We're Delighted ran a creditable second to Jonny Lester's Hair and while winning has proved somewhat elusive in the past, there is a fair argument to suggest that the handicapper has done his bit in the equation by keeping him on 68 despite that improved form. Moheebb was the second part of a famous double for Ruth Carr last week. True, he beat trees on that occasion though he did it in a manner that suggested a follow-up under a penalty was not out of the question. Superior Star finished seventh on that occasion. He blew the start and is one that for all his ability, has one or two ideas that are not condusive to the idea of winning races. Lap Of Honour appears likely to kick on from the gate. Wovoka is much better than her recent race at Pontefract might suggest. Dechiper looks handicapped to the hilt at present but Effingham is very much one to note in the market should support materialise. Ed Vaughan's charge has had a fair time off but did show some aptitude for this surface when fourth in a maiden at Haydock Park last season. Shunkawakhan won an apprentices handicap on his latest outing. He has shown little ability with give underfoot so is readily opposed.
