Verdict

National Interest missed the break when finding only one too good on a trip over to Deauville. The fourth and fifth have both placed since so the form is probably decent. Trafalgar Square will almost certainly improve on his course and distance fourth but New Chelsea was a disappointing favourite at Wolverhampton after a promising debut at Newmarket. A couple of newcomers catch the eye with Detroit Lion out of a mare that has produced winners with her first three offspring but a tentative vote goes to FEIGNING MADNESS as he is a half-brother to Listed winner Dance In The Grass, who was fifth in the 1000 Guineas earlier this year.
