Limbo King probably has the best form among those to have raced previously and should handle the ground but the John Hills-trained colt faces some interesting newcomers here and a chance is taken with one of them with marginal preference for Spanish Moon, who gets the vote ahead of American Spin. The last mentioned is a well related son of Groom Dancer trained by Brian Meehan and could be useful but the yard's youngsters normally improve with racing so he may be best watched first time out. Marcus Tregoning's Halling colt One Hour makes appeal on pedigree and is another to consider along with John Dunlop's Linlithgow. John Gosden's Transcend should improve for his debut spin and is worthy of a mention but preference is for Spanish Moon. Sir Michael Stoute's colt is a brother to Ribblesdale winner Spanish Sun and would not need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut which he is taken to do.
