Summer Of Love is the only one of these to have earned a rating so far but Alan King's filly is nothing out of the ordinary being rated just 116 and a better bet looks to be Royal Rationale, with Apocal rated the pick of the remainder. The selection showed progressive form on the flat with Willie Haggas and now trained by David Pipe, looks to be going the right way over hurdles judged by his latest effort at Folkestone. The Phillip Hobbs-trained Chance Du Roy is very quickly being put over timber after just one start in a bumper and could be of interest having shown promise on that debut outing, while Pam Sly's Pheidias has run well in both starts over hurdles and should again be thereabouts. Apocal ran with credit over timber when trained in France and now makes his debut for Paul Nicholls, who has his string in good form. Royal Rationale has solid claims though and he is preferred.
