Verdict
Najca De Thaix was all out when successful under extremely testing conditions at Plumpton earlier this month and has gone up 8lbs for that victory but the less testing conditions today will suit Emma Lavelle's gelding and he gets the vote to follow up ahead of Pauntley Gofa and Mibleu. The last mentioned was good value fo rhis win at Leicester last week but may struggle under his 7lb penalty so he looks best watched. Kew Jumper made an encouraging return at Hereford last month and has to be respected on that evidence but a 2lb rise since then looks harsh. Michael Scudamore's Jacksons Pier is less exposed than most but has shown only a modicum of ability and of more interest may be recent Wincanton winner Pauntley Gofa, who is only 4lbs higher here. Najca De Thaix should be suited by the conditions today though and he gets the vote to win again.
