Verdict
Autumn Red made an encouraging return after a long absence when chasing home Herecomestanley at Leicester earlier this month but he may find this coming too soon for him and a better bet looks to be Bagan, who gets the vote ahead of Mister Potter. The last mentioned was going well before falling at Uttoxeter last time and would have every chance judged by that performance if none the worse for that tumble. Nictos de Bersy made a decent return at Uttoxeter last month and has to be respected off what seems a fair mark, while Burren Legend has yet to prove that he stays this far and is not certain to do so. The vote then goes to Charlie Mann's Bagan, who was a useful middle distance performer on the level and has been suggesting that a step up in trip would suit over fences.
