First City remains capable of better and should relish the drop in class however FOREST CROWN has had her Nottingham win franked and is fancied to see off Ela Gorrie Mou and Agony And Ecstasy. The selection has a 7lb higher mark than her last win but she looks progressive and hasn't stopped improving since entering handicaps. Stablemate Agony And Ecstasy is another recent winner and her Chepstow form looks solid, Gobama looks high enough in the weights after a Thirsk romp in June, whilst Ela Gorrie Mou's form with Hidden Fire looks strong and she is considered despite being just out of the handicap. First City has plenty of ability and is respected given her fine second to Alsace Lorraine in May, however a mark of 98 looks a tad high and a bigger threat may be Baileys Cacao if she lasts home over this mile trip (best form over 6/7 furlongs). This race can go to the improving Forest Crown.
