STRAITS OF HORMUZ, Stan's Cool Cat and Lady Rusty form a tentative short-list in an open-looking race. The selection left her juvenile form behind when winning readily at Pontefract and there may well be more to come from this scopey filly who probably needed the time to grow into her frame. She did enjoy the run of the race on that occasion but she showed a good attitude and appears to have been allotted a fair mark. Stan's Cool Cat stayed on well on her first attempt over a mile and looks well worth a try over this extra quarter of a mile on that basis although her stamina is not guaranteed. She is more exposed than a large number of this field and the market could make for interesting reading. Saa'ida and Mulitplication have claims if a poor run can be forgiven whilst Featherweight and Cascata are others that could prove popular. There are two from smaller yards that also rate a mention and they are Levitation and Lady Rusty. The former showed her first sign of form when splitting some fair sorts at Salisbury and could prove to be nicely handicapped if building on that run over this longer trip. Lady Rusty returns to action at a time when her yard is going well and she could be a little better than the bare form of her reappearance suggests. Her juvenile form stacks up well enough and any rain would be in her favour but we'll stick with Straits Of Hormuz.
