Penkenna Princess gets the vote over Salamanca and Thirty Love, while Echelon has scope for improvement and she merits a second look in the betting market when things start to warm up. Sir Michael Stoute was very patient with this half-sister to Chic last year but she shaped with plenty of promise when she was seen out. She still holds a Guineas entry and will have to take a race like if she is to be a serious consideration for Newmarket. Thirty Love ran several good races last term before she won her maiden at Goodwood. That form is working out well and she is entitled to respect with her yard in such good form. Salamanca had her measure in the Watership Down Sales race last September and it will be no surprise to see the form upheld today. However, they both have something to find with Penkenna Princess, who has barley put a foot wrong so far and makes plenty of appeal as she also warms up for the first fillies classic next month.
