It may be worth taking a chance with BABILU in the finale where Solas Alainn and Corriolanus could feature. The selection has shown signs of ability on a couple of occasions and did attract some support on debut for this yard at Wolverhampton in October. He showed when third to Kossack at Ripon that this trip on turf holds no fears for him and his shrewd yard may have found a decent opening for him. Solas Alainn has gone close on both starts this year and is partnered by a decent apprentice; he's dropping back in trip but has more positives than negatives to his name and is one of the likelier winners. Princess Flame ran better than her finishing position suggests at Pontefract and goes well for this jockey, Beautiful Lady lost the plot last term but has claims on the pick of her form and Marie Louise is worth a check as she makes her handicap bow for a new yard. Corriolanus showed a little more than has often been the case in a seller when last in action and should be an ideal partner for an inexperienced pilot but we'll take a chance with a relatively inexperienced horse in Babilu.
