SAYIF is the standout contender in this Listed contest and gets the vote ahead of Triple Aspect and Awinnersgame. Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt was runner-up in the 2008 Middle Park over this trip and on fast ground and after disappointing next time at Doncaster he came back to tough it out at Leicester where he won last time. There is no reason why he can't improve again for that and he looks the pick on what he has achieved so far. Triple Aspect has an unblemished record with three wins from as many starts, including the Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg at Chantilly when last seen in September. With the yard in red hot form he is very much respected. Awinnersgame drops back in trip after being kept to 7f for his five most recent runs, two of which have proved successful. He is by Kyllachy and so should retain plenty of speed, although he does have to prove it here. Run For The Hills has a fair bit to find to get competitive, but Marine Boy would have every chance if able to recapture the form of his Mill Reef Stakes run last season. Enderby Spirit has a fair bit to find with the selection on their Leicester running and that selection is Sayif.
