Elegant Hawk is unexposed and whilst she will need to improve again to take this off 70 on his handicap debut, Willie Knight's filly is fancied to score at the main expense of Abyla and Candy Mountain. The form of the selection's win last time out doesn't look particularly strong but the first three home pulled some way clear and she shapes as if there is plenty of improvement to come. She also showed a gutsy attitude on that occasion and with this step up in trip unlikely to pose any problems, she gets the vote. Candy Mountain, Scar Tissue, Mega Dame, and Abyla all represent dangers in the form of unexposed animals. Ryan Moore takes the eye on Luca Cumani's Candy Mountain; she steps back up in trip and may have been let in lightly for her handicap debut on this mark of 66. Abyla and Scar Tissue have both shown a lot more ability than Candy Mountain but Scar Tissue failed to land a seller last time out whilst Abyla looks a more apparent danger and may improve for this quicker ground. All in all this looks a tough contest, and whilst Kyloe Belle may go well at a price, we are happy to return to Elegant Hawk as the nomination.
