Cat Junior is taken to make a winning bow over the likes of Hustle, Gaia Prince and Hit The Roof to name but three. Division two of the maiden is yet another guessing game in truth, but Cat Junior is an interesting sort on breeding, being by Storm Cat, and has a mix of speed and stamina in his pedigree. Running in the Roldvale colours, he holds an entry in the Gimcrack, and will be expected to give a good account here. Hustle is also earmarked for York's big juvenile contest, but will need to show a lot more than he did when sent off favourite at Ascot. He ran as green as the Berkshire grass that day, finishing last of nine, leaving the money well and truly in the bookies' satchels. Gaia Prince is a Derby entry and will certainly need further than six furlongs in time, while Hit The Roof, a stablemate of Hustle, is sure to have been well galloped, but does not make nearly as much appeal as the others mentioned. Of the remainder, Mansii kept good company on his first two starts, but then flopped completely on the Kempton Polytrack, so is hard to fancy, and for our stab in the dark we look to Cat Junior.
