Houri's our selection in the lucky last, preferred to Xtravaganza and Miss Rochester. She won a similar contest at Nottingham on her last but one run, and there was no disgrace in being runner up last time to Amicable Terms at Warwick. She's wearing cheekpieces and giving weight away to most, but has the class to minimise that. Sir Michael Stoute's Miss Rochester, his only runner of the day, is making her handicap debut, and although yet to break her maiden, has shown up well in a couple of tough maidens this season. She's likely to be held up before making her move. Last time out Xtravaganza won at Folkestone with Italian Goddess well beaten in third; that was on soft ground, and although having more in hand on the weights, there's little to suggest that form can be reversed. Neither will mind if there's been much rain. Heavenly Saint, making her first appearance in nearly a year, is now with her third trainer. She's shown nothing in handicap company so far, but maybe Mr Price can make a difference. There is winning form in the locker, albeit a lowly seller. But our pick for the finale is Houri.
