Local trainer Mark Brisbourne fires four arrows at the target here of which none make a great deal of appeal, so we will plump for Lady Salama ahead of Citizenship. Drawn in stall five, the selection has been given a better berth than most of her obvious rivals. She has experience of the track having run a fair third here last time and it can stand her in good stead today. Lucky Dan is not well-named given his hard luck story on debut. He was running a fine race and looked sure to be involved in the finish until he clipped heels late on and got rid of his jockey; he should be fine with the extra furlong but hasn¿t encountered a bend yet. Proclaim is well-drawn and must rate a danger for his in-form stable, whilst Shifting Gold and Citizenship have both lucked out with very wide draws. Flintock seemed to regress from first to second outings, and so we will return to Lady Salama as the selection.
