Verdict

The victory of AUGHNACURRAVEEL over Sizing Mexico at Fairyhouse was given a boost when the runner-up scored easily at Thurles on Thursday. Garry Ducey's stable star can retain his unbeaten record over timber here despite taking a big rise in grade. Fully Funded has taken some time to mature but looked a nice prospect at Wexford last time though he meets much stronger rivals here. Seafield, a half-brother to the high-class Joncol, has immense potential as he showed when coming with a late run to score at Punchestown. He'll be better suited by today's longer trip and looks the main threat. The remainder have a bit to find though Gift Of Dgab looked a nice prospect when runner-up to Monastrell at Down Royal.
